Resa lab

Thank you so much for accepting the invitation to spend time together in the same space. We are so much looking forward to the start of this experiment.

We are eight artists living in different places in Europe, that have been working in the performing arts field for many years. I know most of you for many years, with some it’s an opportunity to reconnect. For all of us it’s an opportunity to get to know each other (better). I’m interested in how you personally and your work in the field have developed over that long time. This meeting could be a possibility to revisit and reformulate your path by sharing it with each other.

The idea is to gather around concerns that feel particularly urgent presently in each of our lives/practices and for the process to grow out of the sharing of these urgencies, their crossings, and whatever skills, techniques procedures, exercises, approaches, etc. any of us might propose to better explore these urgencies. Ilya and I are officially responsible for the encounter/lab, but all eight of us will be hosts and guests of each other during the upcoming four days.

You don’t have to prepare anything in advance or bring anything special. We will figure things out on the ground and on the go, and work with whatever is readily available.
